I had a great visit to Zitzman Elementary school. Over two days, I presented to all the students from Kindergarten to Fourth grade, talking about books, the writing process, and, of course, math. We had so much fun learning about math is all around us, from the number of petals on a flower to the shape of a hurricane to the millions of stars aligning in spiral galaxies.

The kids really enjoyed my magic tricks, including a “counting test” that didn’t go as expected and paper turning into silk scarves in a ball of flame. I loved the visit and meeting everyone!
