Kids who are into math will take special delight in the story, but those with zero interest in math will find themselves not only unable to put it down but turned onto math before they’re finished.
– Yadude Books
I just wanted to say thank you for another book! My son struggled with learning to read but he instantly fell in love with this series. He reads them over and over again. When the latest book comes in, he throws his iPad to the side and grabs the book to start reading immediately.

These books are as interesting for adults as they are for children. If you have not already found the value and mysteries in mathematics, just read these novels to your children.
– Canadian Review of Materials
This is an engaging series combining math and literacy. Perfect for middle school kids as well. Highly recommend this for the math classroom or just reading for fun.

My kids and I both love this series! Very engaging and thought provoking stories. Reading these books with my kids has initiated a lot of math talk in my house! Highly recommend!!!

Great math chapter book for kids. My 10 year old loves these books. Great for keeping them engaged and thinking about math in a different context.

My boys love to read these books. They are clever and make it interesting for kids.

I wish I could read this book again for the first time. I have read the first two books and was all too excited to read this 3rd installment! Everything about it was mathematically wonderful. Highly recommend for 4th and 5th graders, along with the Moms and Dads who adore them.
— The Literary Apothecary
As a fourth grade teacher I am excited for school to start again and to use this book as a read aloud for problem solving in my class. We often do escape rooms and competitions in math and the variety of problem solving opportunities, open ended problems, impossible problems, math vocabulary, and cause and effect activities running through my brain are constantly increasing. OK getting away from the math nerd and teacher in me, the characters are likable and real, The situations are engaging. There was age appropriate humor that wasn’t condescending for children. I look forward to the next book in the series.
